It's absolutely awesome to see someone from a chinese forum providing news and decisive information about Twister's development. I definitely support the idea of creating an English-based forum!

ftfans, count me as a chinese user of Twister, I'm willing to help if things aren't clear between both parties. My chinese is at a decent level compared to my fellow friends here at Germany. :p

Fuzzfas, I see a lot of potential in Twister and a bright future for it to come. I have a feeling that the next version will blow ass and completely revamp our thoughts and opinions about this application ! :D

One things still annoys me though, I'm talking about the design and overall appearance of their homepage. Filseclab must show that organisation and quality are key aspects of their development, and a customer cannot but only judge them by having a look at their homepage. At the moment, it looks like a mess, seriously.

But don't get me wrong, Twister is on the right way, just read some of my posts here in this thread. I can only but agree with Fuzzfas that Twister is definitely worth a try! :argh:

It's what PCSL tests show too. And in general Twister after months that i use it, has proved quite capable.

Thank you, i visited their english website, i downloaded the beta (there is no stable) and will try it. I also see there is no way of buying it for the time being in the english site.

Well, that would be most welcome! :D

I agree. Zetelo, my fellow Twistee, i feel we did a good investment. The way i see it, everything is pointing towards an improvement. Twister started partecipating in a test lab, they partecipate in a new chinese (and soon english too) dedicated forum, they plan to reintroduce a firewall and make a suite too and a new version with major improvements in scan engine and FDD is coming. All this points to an emerging rather than dying venture. :thumb:
I don't see how things can go worse than today. And already today Twister can be used as main scanner without problem, from any security-aware user.

My friend, i don't know if it's going to blow ass or anything else (:D ), but i will be VERY surprised if after 1 1/2 year, it won't be considerably better than this one. So i feel we 've bet on the right horse! :D

I agree on this too. Twister isn't the top av out there and still has to iron out some scanning issues (jar files and FP), but for its level, is certainly unfairly uknown and underestimated. They have a product that doesn't have the reputation that could have, compared to similar products, because of lack of pubblicity and image-presentation. Their website should be treated with more care, make it look better. Twister deserves that. It's a shame to penalise a good product because of that.

I've been knowing that there must be some people like Twister, but i just can not find them. Til today, here, meet you guys. Thanks for your coming support, though i am confident enough of my english that i can be understood, at least most of my sentences, by most of guys. Just a joke:D , i do need your help!

felseclab, is a studio, not a company. As i know, there are about 20 people in felseclab. They do not have much time to prove the website. Even the UI of their soft.

chinese users have asked them to improve it since long time ago. For this long time efford, filseclab finally agree that point. However, that famous design studio is too busy to do this at the moment. Since they said so, we can expect a much better UI.

The website, it is simple enough! I will forward your advise to them.

Glad that you have found Wilders ftfans :)

Its good to hear that Filseclab are going to develop their firewall.
I remember using it a few years ago and it had a lot of good reviews here on Wilders forum.

Looking forward to your english forum when its ready and hearing a bit more about whats in store for the new release of Twister later on in the year.

We, the "Twistees", are few in this forum, but loyal and devoted supporters of Twister! Don't worry about your english, most of us aren't native english speakers either. Some months ago, a Filseclab representative was posting in this forum too, but at some point he left. We had asked him to make an english forum and now finally we will have the chance to talk with our chinese fellow users and again with a Filseclab official. :thumb:

The UI may be simple, but it makes it very light. The website on the other hand, is the "face" of the business towards the people. A nice looking, professionally looking website, inspires more confidence to the user. It's sad, but that's how things work, at least in the west.

Very good indeed, I have been using the old one, A new one would be great.

Good thing you found us ;) , Your English is very good.

I'm going to install it later, Until now i haven't heard of this program so it will be interesting. Even better if it runs alongside Twister but with Twisters FDDS its questionable we will see.

ROFL! I guess they were showing me a Twister on demand scan or something, so i got into dancing mood. :D

Bellgamin's english is far better than mine, so i support his motion. I don't even know what Twinkies are, but i presume it's bad enough. So Twistee.org it is.

BTW, in the AV poll, we just reached 7.

Dedicated to all the Twistees! We will conquer them all! We are growing! :argh: [IMG]

    hey, check it out! Surprise!

Since the ftfans.org(twistee inchinese) has been there for about one year, it is not so easy, and until now, it is very few people there, but everyone who are there are twistees in china.

Now, i set up this english based twistee forum, hoping to provide all the twistees a home.

hey, today is a "little spring festival", or "pre-spring festival", which is for people to offer good thins to the kitchen god, so that when this kitchen god go back to heaven, he would not say ban words on this family. a kind of bribe? i guess so.

firecracker, fireworks makes here a happy and beautiful city. Though i am very far away from my family, and i am homesick, still i want to share this happyness to you, happy new year!:D.
