    Hello hans,

You can improve your speeds by "tweaking"... I used the site broadbandreports http://www.broadbandreports.com/ to help me tweak my machine without any of the generic tweaking programs out there.

Take a look at the site, it is a wealth of information....

    HTH.....

    Regards,
    Kent

I use cablenut and it improved my speed greatly. It's free.
You can download the program here.
    http://cablenut.com/
You can get help at the forum here.
    http://broadbandnuts.com/yabbse/index.php?board=12

Read the please read before asking questions thread first.

If you decide to try cablenut, the first time you open it you can retrieve your current settings from the registry. I suggest you save those in case you want to go back later for whatever reason.
Cablenut has more settings than you ever imagined, and when configured right, it does produce results.
