Trying to install Eset on Ubuntu 11.04 desktop.

    Found the instructions, got the download - problem is when I try to change permissions - permissions says I'm the owner, not Eset.

    I can't get to the installer.

    Please help

    It should say that you're the owner. I apologize for the confusion and I have updated the image in the installation article.
    Since we know that the owner name is not the issue, can you try installing using the instructions in the Knowledgebase article and reply here with more details of the problem you're encountering. Such as, what do you mean "can't find the installer", that is what you are clicking to change the permissions.
