I'm running Smart Security on Windows 7, 64 bit. Following a re-installation due to a new hard disk I was getting repeated messages as of a detected port scanning attack.
I followed the instructions on http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2873&ref=wsf and configured a trusted zone from xxx.yyy.1.1 to xxx.yyy.1.40, saved the settings and rebooted. I'm still getting the same error message, with addresses well in the range ie xxx.yyy.1.3 or xxx.yyy.1.6. I'd be inclined to ignore the error, but I'm also having problems accessing my network printer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, I've just printed successfully and I haven't got any port scanning warnings since doing what you suggested:)
