    Hi, getawini

What is your OS, and do you have a Burning Program i.e. Nero.

Simply copy the downloaded file to a CD and burn the CD as a DATA CD.

You might want to create a text file with Notepad and record any serial or purchase info about the transaction and add that file to the data CD before burning.

After you install the program, then use the program to create a Bootable Rescue Media CD. This new bootable CD will give you a CD from which you can make backups or restores----in addition to many other options available with the Acronis program.

where do I find the downloadable file to burn it to a cd? I already have true image installed on my computer and that's where the problem is. I don't know what file to go to burn it a cd.

    Hi, getawini

I was typing as you was posting above. :)

What is it you wont to burn to CD, the Installation file [you downloaded] or are you trying to make a Rescure BootCD.

The Installation file is what I'm trying to burn. When I right click on the Acronis folder and it says send to, I click to burn it which it does but when I use the cd and click on the contents, there's no installation file.
    I appreciate all your help.

Where did you put the file you downloaded? This is the one you want to burn to a CD - not what was installed from it.

I hope I understand your question correctly. My acronis folder is in the program files and once you click on it, a folder for true image and when I click on it, it has 21 icons but I don't see anything where it has a setup or instant or exe in it. I'm new with this but I'm trying. My concern is if for some reason or another, it gets wiped off the computer, how would I be able to reinstall it without it burnt on a cd? Thank you.

No, that's not it. You downloaded the True Image file - the one you have to click on to install the software. Where did you put this file that you downloaded?

Build 3567 has an install file name of trueimage9.0.3567_s_en(1).exe

Do a file search and search for
    trueimage9*.exe

This should help you find the file and burn it to cd.

When you find it, right click and use the send to feature and send it to the CD drive. Follow the prompts and check to make the file is actually burnt to CD.

Another way would be to open your burn program and maybe it has a feature "add to" cd feature, etc.
