    Dear Friends,

I've heard so many great things about Image Home 2009. but, unfortunately I've had some aggravating problems. Today I attempted to create a Secure Zone. Mid-way through it, the program stopped and gave the following; "ERROR: Unable to Write to Disk 1 sector 0 (Retry, Ignore, ignore All) ". The only way to get things moving again was to press ignore all. When I reopended the program, it said that I had created a SZ. However, the reprentational disk showe "0" mg for the FZ. Can someone help me?

Sounds like you have bad sectors on that harddrive. You might want to run a disk check.

    Hello Cary and lesterf1020,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

Cary, I can suggest you to create Acronis Booting Rescue Media and perform the operation under it.

Acronis Booting Rescue Media is a standalone version of Acronis True Image Home 2009, burned onto a CD and based on a Linux operating system.

You can find out on how to create Acronis Booting Rescue Media on our web site at User Guide for Acronis True Image Home 2009 available here, chapter 10

    1. Create Acronis Booting Rescue Media.

    2. Insert Acronis Booting Rescue Media and reboot your computer. Please check in your computer's BIOS if booting from removable media (CD-ROM) is allowed and switched on.

    3. Choose Acronis Secure Zone Wizard and create Acronis Secure Zone.

    Thank you.
