    Hi,

I need to replace the old hard disk (A 4G hdd with Netware 4.12 installed) with a new 36G hdd, is it possible to use TI9.0 to transfer the OS & data from the old hdd to the new one?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Hello ikkjr,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

You can clone your first drive to the second one using the "Clone Disk" wizard. This wizard allows transferring the operating system, applications and data from one disk to another. To clone the first drive to the second one, you must first install the new disk drive in the PC, after that you can move all of the contents of one disk onto the second one with Acronis True Image. When you clone the disk you may choose two ways of cloning: automatic (proportional) and manual. In the first case the space will be distributed proportionally among the partitions. In the second case you can distribute the new disk space manually, this mode allows you to manage partitions in the way you need, but we recommend this way only for professionals.

Please read the User's Guide (Chapter 7. Transferring the system to a new disk).

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick response :D

Btw, do you mean both "True Image 9.0" & "True Image 8.0 Enterprise Server for Windows" are able to clone a netware partition to a bigger hdd?

    Thanks again & best rdgs.
