    Hi,

I have just downloaded a trial version of Real Spy v1.49 monitoring software. Just before the installation completes NOD32 AV presents me with the following trojan alert.

I have downloaded three copies of Real Spy from different download sites, all attempted installations result in NOD32 AV stating trojan detected. Every installation results in the same warning window, different temp file.

Does this mean all copies of Real Spy are carrying a hidden trojan or is this a false positive?

    Comments anyone...

    Regards

    Buster

Real Spy being a key logger could be why NOD is alerting to it.

    Buster,

Winhook.dll is related to keylogging software (and other malware for that matter); thus NOD32 correctly flags this one.

    regards.

Also by your error it appears you do not have ADMIN rights for that install. See that all the time trying to install software on user account and not ADMIN.
