    Help,
    Trend Micro found two viruses on my machine that Etrust could not. However, neither of the viruses is listed on the trend micro site. Can't find anything on google either. The viruses are troj.hidewmd.a and troj.botirc.a. These were sent to me by the customer. There is a chance that he typed them incorrectly. If anyone can offer advice it would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like HideWindow (simple trojan tool) and an IRC bot. Can you send the suspect files to submit@diamondcs.com.au ? I'll gladly assist in any cleanup, there is probably one of the usual autorooter bots which exploit a hole and set up a hidden mIRC backdoor
