    Trisquel is another longstanding distro (13 years) that doesn’t get the attention it deserves and having included a KDE edition with their latest release this will hopefully change.

    It is fast, ultra stable and only includes truly free software whether this is a consideration for you or not. Just be aware that because of this it won’t work with integrated WiFi cards or most of the popular USB WiFi adapters. Those that do work are detailed in their forum. Otherwise you'll need a cable or a mobile router with a cable output.
