Does the trial version of nod update the same time as the full version. Will it update without username and password. Is the full version different or if bought can the username and password be enterd into trial version
Hi Waters, welcome to Wilders. The trial version now updates the same as the commercial (in increments), it used to download the entire database each time. The full version is the same, however once the trial is over and if you choose to purchase, you will need to uninstall the trial version, and install the commercial version. Hope this helps... Cheers
Hi Waters welcome over here... An advice ...?? GET IT !! That's a nice piece of light and efficient software. It does what it is supposed to do ... with no compromise and silently !! Cheers Tony
Yes, I can confirm that the trial version updates everytime Eset issues new virus definitions. It is not like some other antivirus demos, which allow you only one update (or limited updates) through the trial period. The trial version seems to be fully functional, as far as I can tell. When you buy the full version (which I will do soon ), you will have to uninstall the trial version, reboot, then install the full version.
VERY IMPRESSED WITH TRIAL Will purchace full version. Just concerned that big update posted, with trial version has not downloaded My last update was 2005 02. I think trial updates are from update servers different from full versions. IF so i will buy. But it concerned me that on home site the update was posted 1 day behind the update , ie ECET HOME
I'm also trialing NOD32, but the latest update is 1.990. I haven't received the latest (large) update yet.
