Staples has a free download of Trend Micro Titanium AV+ as a free download. 1 PC license, No rebate. Anyone using this?

PS- there have been many "free" TM Titanium postings across the web lately but many of those are for non-authorized use. The TM Titanium from Staples looks to be free for everyone. You have to add the av to your cart and check out so I am assuming you also have to register info.

Yeah, too late here too. I've never used Trend Micro.

I know one computer tech here who swears by it and has used it for years, and another who swears at it and says he wouldn't even put it on an enemy's computer.

my isp supply it free, and last time I tried it, it deeply disturbed me! Horrible pc performance, horrible features, many of which didn't seem to work properly.

I stopped using Trend Micro after the Webguard started blocking (harmless) porn videos.

Well, you do know that malware quite often comes from porn movies/sites as well, yes?

Edit: In the future when you are unsure "is this file/website Safe Or Not" ? Then you could use site such as Virustotal.com for File and URL scan, and/or URLVoid.com for URL scanning. To get a hint of what to expect before you visit or download anything that's unknown or suspicious.

That's only if you're so stupid you can't even find porn. In any case, I only use reputable and safe sites. Trend was preventing the videos from loading, with absolutely no warning.
And btw the Webguard was on Medium so that I could get warnings, because if it's on high it blocked completely harmless sites like proxy websites without any warnings at all.
