Very similar to my experience, except I just installed over the top. The installer removed the old version and prompted for a reboot. Then it proceeded to install the new version. Still registered and all settings intact. Overall I can't tell the difference between this and the old version, but that is not a bad thing. Using this at work, no complaints from any users.

Anyone having problems with Trend v10, specifically coreServiceShell.exe, overusing the CPU (on my machine continually using ~9% of the CPU). Additionally, it's raising the CPU temp by 10-12 degrees Celsius. The only way I've found to stop it is to exit Trend and then manually stop the process, then restart and it seems to fix it (at least for a little while).

I'm also not seeing any issues with coreServiceShell.exe here either.
