Total Defense Anti-Virus free ??? (facebook)

I see Total Defense Anti-Virus is advertising in the Facebook Security Store as "FREE WORLD-CLASS PROTECTION Includes Exclusive Cloud Based Security Assessment"

I'm not sure if it would be worth trying or not...here's their web page for more info-

formerly Computer Associates...if it's anything close to CA I would not install it on my worst enemy's computer...but it's supposed to be improved after being taken over from CA.

Used a CA security suite some years ago. I swear it sounded like my laptop was wheezing. Sure hope they've lightened the load a bit. Be interested to know if anyone's tried it.

 

Different name, same bad product.
