Although I love this Machine i wanted to do a fresh Install with a purchased Windows 7 professional, However I dont know why this is but when i wipe the drive and Install the retail copy No Ethernet drivers are installed, and the volume panel (i.e) media control panel does not Illuminate. Uninstalling the Toshiba applications saves alot of space when I do a recovery, but I'd still like to install my Win professional without having these issues. i could save the ethernet driver from the TOSAPINS folder i know, but does anyone know what application i need to save that enables the media panel to operate as normal?. I have had none of these issues with my other notebooks, (HP) only with a toshiba

Did you try the Toshiba website for modified drivers they might use with this particular machine under W7?
