Hello, I was hoping someone could help me, I am not too familiar with disk management.
Having just got a new laptop, I burnt the recovery discs ( 5 dvd's )
Having looked at disk management, there are 3 partitions, C, the recovery partition and another.
I am confused why the recovery partition is so small,1.46 gb
Also I do not know what the other partition is, it's 91gb but does not show up on my computer
On my Acer desktop the recovery partition is 13 gb
Is this normal. Thanks very much for your advice http://[IMG]http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7853/diskmanagement.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]
I believe you can restore the laptop without the discs by using f8 and choosing repair/restore

Toshiba does indeed come with 3 partitions. A 1.5gb boot partition, system partition, and a 10gb recovery partition.

It is normal. I image all 3 partitions.

Thanks for your reply Greenwhite. I appreciate it. I still think it a little odd that my 3rd partition is over 90 gb, but i won't worry about it :thumb:
