Just reading the comments from users about the upgraded Torbutton. Lots of chatter about it being spyware now... anyone more knowledge than me can confirm?

If it's true, what's the alternative? (besides Xerobank - not against Xerobank, just not ready to spend $30/month until I read more user reports about the new version)

I doubt torbutton is simply leaking. However it is a unsafe plugin and easy for a website to bypass.

Why is it unsafe and easy for a website to bypass (proof, evidences, examples) ?
