For those of you who use torbrowser you may notice that you cannot change your homepage (well you can but it defaults on startup). I tolerated this for a long time but I've finally become fed up with it. I understand it from a security standpoint (Keep you from browsing when you THINK you're connected to Tor but aren't) but I've already removed that risk (HTTP, HTTPS, etc) are all blocked unless being run though the current active tor connection or on an exclusive allow list. I do not know why they didn't simply implement the check on startup and if it did succeed show the users homepage (Which could be chosen after first startup) and if it didnt show the check.torproject.org page as that would've made sense.

The check is in "Tor Browser\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\extensions\{e0204bd5-9d31-402b-a99d-a6aa8ffebdca}\chrome\content\Torbutton.js"

it's easily identified if you know what you're looking for.
