    Though not flagged as if it were a malicious or major fault, the VirusTotal analysis for the v11.0.6 Windows® x64 en-US installer shows "File signature could not be verified"

    In a distant, yet similar, issue when the appropriate v11.0.6 installation is made with macOS Monterey, its .app file contains improbable "Create/Modified" dates. I hope these lapses in attention to details can soon be corrected.

    When it comes to the torbrowser-install-win64-11.0.7_en-US.exe edition, I totally agree that the new VT analysis shows "Signed file, valid signature" and that is a comfort.

    But it is again with regret to see that the TorBrowser-11.0.7-osx64_en-US.dmg edition still fails to report improbable "Create/Modified" dates, for the app, after installation. I did send a report to the Tor Project folks at least a week ago.

    I'll wait until the next osx64_en-US release (v11.0.9?) to see if the above gets fixed as it is likely low priority.

    Ah yes, I don't use MacOS so I didn't see that. Strange that it still isn't fixed.

    I don't know if it's just my network or not but downloading the update is extremely slow, eventually failing.

    Hello @Krusty:

    I checked from the U.S. left coast a few minutes ago and at about one minute (Wi-Fi), my download times were about normal. It could be the Tor Project's Germany based CDN was slightly overloaded but I doubt they 'throttle'.

    Maybe you could wait an hour or so and try again. The authenticity of this type of download is way too critical to seek less secure resources.

    Outstanding! My ~95 MB Wi-Fi Tor installer download just took ~40 seconds. I know this is meaningless without a comparison.

    I still have MBG 2.4.2 on my list to follow up for us...

    My download speed is ~ 50 mbps but the that didn't help with the TOR update.
    Awesome! Yeah, I've been wondering about that. I haven't seen any posts on their about about it.
