    Safeguy,

Yeah i turned it off in the end. I think i'll do the same with auto AV updates aswell , and the windows updates give you a 10 minute heads up so no worries there. My girlfreind can run amok on the web now with games on my laptop now if she wants.

Must be times when you start using this software that you forget to restart through Time Freeze and just turn off the PC after a web session....:argh: :isay:
Would turning the PC off and on reveal a clean slate or would only a restart work i wonder. i guess the latter - i'll have to give that a try, but i would have thought the boffins have that covered aswell.

If you turn off the PC, the changes are kept in Sandbox.cache. This file gets deleted when you turn on the PC again.

They need to correct the year on that changelog, it's not 2012 anymore.

I think you should understand one thing. If one project is made by different developers, they can keep the different version number for the files they built.

I think TTF is made up of Windows Drivers and GUI files, if it is made by different users, they can use different file version to keep tracking.

For example. Windows XP = Windows NT 5.0

But you can check all the exe and dlls in the system32 folder in XP, you will find that all have different version nubmerbs.

Thanks for the released information. :shifty:

Just using v. 1.9.3 yet. Very stable in my Win XP and Win 7 systems; since I don't have "BSOD issue with EFI partition", I don't update it now.

TTF is in fact a very solid and stable application; I use it always in "Frozen Mode" with Sandboxie. When I need to update something I enter in "Normal Mode". Folders like "My Documents" and others like Opera, AdFefender profile files are in my D:\ partition with junctions in C:\ system partition.

And the last, but not the least, it is freeware! :thumb:

    That sucks.

Who or what company do you all think is doing it?

Isn't Toolwiz Time Freeze like Shadow Defender?

Hello to all users of Toolwiz TimeFreeze (TTF)...

I would like to install TTF on my PC with Win7-64bit pro, but i don't know which version is better.:doubt:

I usually always prefer the latest version, but the version 2.1 has an installer (strangely) smallest of the
previous (why?)...and many users says also that it does not protect the mbr!

Since i need TTF to test large programs as Adobe Master Collection CS6, Lightwave, Nero-12 Suite, etc....which
version do you reccomend, the 2.1 or 1.9.5.0??

PS: It's also strange because on official website the installer file size is 3.3Mb, whereas the really downloaded file
    is 2.48Mb only! o_O

Zapco, in my opinion, it is better to use the latest version. Get it from the official website and upload the installer to Virus total before running the installer.

If it does then i will pass on it.

I believe the latest version of TTF includes Toolwiz Time Machine (TTM) whereas the prior version doesn't.

There is no mention of this on the website. From what I have tested, it is the other way around - the last version of Time Machine includes a component of Time Freeze.

Exact!!....on the website is clearly specified.
...wendi perhaps he understood the opposite! :D

However you have not told me because the latest version (2.1) has a smallest
installer o_O ....and especially if this version is better or not than the 1.9.5.0 version?

I've read that they removed the MBR protection in the latest version, probably because of it wasn't stable or due to conflict.
