    Hello
A friend has Trojan Rameh A on his computer and yet I can find no record of this trojan anywhere on the AV sites. Does anyone here know how this has got into his machine and how to get rid of it please.
Thank you in anticipation of any help given here.

I have read them - does this mean we have to run the adaware and spybot software and then post the logs? You will have to bare with me here I am new to all this. Sorry if I am doing things wrong.

No, you just have to download, install, update and run Adaware and Spybot S&D and have these programs fix what they've found.

After doing so, proceed to step 2 - HijackThis (HJT). Follow the instructions to the letter, don't fix anything and post that log.

On a side note: bear in mind in about 90 minutes this board will go down for maintenance.

    regards.

Thank you Paul - I'm a bit slow on the uptake but I do get there eventually.
    Happy maintaining

Hope we can help you out before we go down - if not, we'll try to do so as soon as we're back up again ;)

    regards.
