To minimize or close?

Hi everyone, I have v 2.06p3 and i think this may be the app ive been loooking for. my question do I exit out of LNS after setting my rules or just minimize it?
if i exit its not in my taskbar but if i minimize it its minimized to my rocketdock and the settings screen stays open

You should just minimize the application, and the icon stay in the Tray Icon zone.

If you exit the application, by default the Application Filtering and the Packet Filter are no longer enabled.
There are however two options in the advanced option list to keep filterings enabled even if you exit the application. But this is more a protection against malware trying to kill security applications, than a reason to exit Look 'n' Stop.
