    Well, we took the opportunity of the unique scenery to take a picnic together on Io, and refresh ourselves with some clear water. (It was a good thing we were able to fit onboard our portable picnic bench,lol) :D Of course, we couldn't tear Fire-Ant away from his computer and Ritaan was having too much fun orbiting the satellite... :D

    We all need to take a break from work every once in a while and just relax, and have a picnic and then a little recreation ;)

    I'll send over some home made Grappa. It will either liven the party up or end it.

    Party on, big ed

    Absolutely! :D I can't guarantee that we will be totally safe of all danger but so far, so good!

    Thanks! :) I don't know it's the best one but I know that they all take lots of time! That's why I cannot post lots of them. I wish I could draw as fast as I type.... But I don't! :(

    Mmm...we haven't had any food yet. :( I thought we could rely on Nadirah's water only but maybe it won't be substantial enough... o_O

    I'm sure Ritaan will like a good hamburger and our revigorating water! :D

    Excuse me Captain--how will she eat that hamburger with the suit on?
    I've looked through the manual and can't find the details anywhere.

    Sorry to be a pest about this. :ninja: *puppy*

    Lol Ronjor, I designed those suits myself, :cool: they are the sames we used in Life on Mars. How will she eat a hamburgero_O- She just has to lift the visor and that it's the same for water. :D

    Io has an atmosphere, but it is lucky we didn't all expire there ;) I doubt it is conducive to life.

    Right, it has an atmosphere but it is not favorable to life as Bigc said. :(
    In fact, informed scientists tell us that Io is rather like Dante's Inferno. :eek:
    Fortunately Nadirah's water will make us almost invincible! :D

    Imposing moon bigc. I say let's do it!

    Ganymede is not only the largest moon of Jupiter, it is the largest moon in the solar system.

    * Diameter of Ganymede = 5260 kilometers
    * Diameter of Mercury = 4880 kilometers

    Not only is Ganymede bigger than the puny planet Pluto, it is actually 380 kilometers larger in diameter than Mercury. If Ganymede orbited the Sun, we'd have no hesitation in calling it a planet. Although Ganymede is larger in diameter than Mercury, it is lower in mass. The average density of Ganymede is only 1900 kg/m3, much less than that of Mercury. Hence, Ganymede is less than half the mass of Mercury. The density of Ganymede is similar to that of Callisto.

    The surface of Ganymede differs from that of Callisto, however. Parts of its surface, as seen in the Voyager image below, are covered with grooved terrain.

    The grooves are about 10 kilometers apart and 300 meters deep. Judging from the number of impact craters lying on top of them, the grooves formed less than 2 billion years ago. They are probably `stretch marks' in the crust.
