Sorry Net Traveler... can't subscribe to the 'Big Bang' Theory...if it was true we would all be deaf or at least have a loud ringing in our ears.....

Now, the String Theory has lots more possibilities....you can do loads of things with String......Think about it!.....You must admit it sounds more logical..

Lol! Yes THERE IS a string theory and all kind of strings...lol! :D

Oh Cochise, I thought of you when watching "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" yesterday. I like the part when they fight with the French, both English and French were funny and especially when the English brag about the idea of creating a trojan rabbit to enter into the fortress but forgot they HAVE to be in the rabbit! lol! :D

You may laugh Darling Uguel, but every sketch that 'Python' ever did, we, the English, can relate to........I'm pleased to say.... :D :D :D....there is nobody on this Planet more eccentric than the English... and long may we continue in that vein.......... :D :D....so back to the 'String' Theory....How long do you think it is then?... :D

Cochise, ( You can never have enough string and brown paper when time travellin').

Yes, the English have an eccentric humour. Although they can be quite direct sometimes, they can also be very subtle too. :D
Well, If I remember well...what I read about the string theory, it was, I think, something pertaining to the structure of the universe. A far as the other strings are concerned they supposed to be out of fashion soon! But I'd rather not elaborate too much on that matter! :D

Oh boy, this ride sure did beat a 747.

I'm going to prepare the time machine for starting up.
Keep in sight so we can leave in a hurry when needed.

BTW, what's this message on the screen? :

Sure challenges Einstein's theory of relativity. ;)
Physicists around the world starting to belive in possibillity Big Bang was a product of strings.
In string theory, the strings collide over small but finite distance producing a "short circuit" The Big Bang..
Single point of space and time at zero distance...

Can you imagine what would be like to be able to move trough space and time..
Jumping between and into other Universe.. Worm Hole..
This is sooo interesting.. Here in Europe we have some great scientific programs..
I think I saw all of them.. I was always fascinated by space and time. :)

Alright Fire-Ant, Hope you are not too tired to take the commands...after all we don't get hugged by a cave woman, pursued by an apatausoraus, lifted by a pterodactyl everyday, eh? :D

Should you have any links to suggest or any input to share, just let us know.

Science officer Bigc please get prepared for our next voyage...do you think our trekker is in good enough condition to leave now? Did you check the time phase system? Have we updated our datas? o_O

Our mars trip made a believer out of me, so the time traveler is extremely durable and dependable. it could even take a time spin anomaly head on without damage. we might get bruised up a little but our traveler is really tough.

We already started discussing about going to the very beginning of life as Bigc inquired a few posts earlier. *puppy* I thought that Bigc could start the thread at the Big Bang and then Net Traveler could explain what the string theory is, why does he believe in it more than the theory of the Big Bang and so and so...There are so many things to discuss about...How things could have started....Under what conditions...What was there? :) As usual, I will post some drawing along :D

Also, after discussing the Big Bang and the string theory, we will come back on earth to see how was the earth at the very beginning. Before any form of life: planta and fauna. The only form of life will be reduced to a microscopic scale. How will we behave once there? :doubt:

I will call the next thread Genesis :)

Science Officer Bigc you will have the honor to start Genesis.

I got a suggestion for our time travel voyage, why don't we travel back to China during the time of the reign of chinese emperor Qin Shihuang, maybe we'll get to see how the Great Wall of China was constructed!

    Hey Nadirah!!

We are going to see the "Big Bang"! If it was a big bang! No one seems to know for sure.

Now, some people are saying the universe is made up of ---get this!!
STRINGS!!! Strings!! How can that beo_O

Strings are for cats to play with, or packages that cats can rip apart! STRINGS are not for any universes!!

Hey! Look out your window!! I see the universes and they don't have a single or double or triple STRING!!

Strings are for cats!! Dinosaurs are for Fire-Ants! LOL!!

OK, maybe guitar strings are the universes's strings! Yea! the guitar's make the noise with the strings, then BANG! A rocker hits you with a bottle on the head and you think it is the universes's "BIG BANG" song!!

    Waddya think, Nadirah??

Yeah!! We could bring back the biggest ball of string in the world ever!! The Guiness Book of Records would have to give us a title!!

The String Things, no, String Along With Me? No, String Along Little Fellow?
The 3 Strings?? String It Loud? It's a Stringy Night in Georgia? NO,
I know "A Barrel of Strings"!!!

Ah, string it! I'm gonna turn in, my coat is getting all stringy! :(

Yeah, I am definitely feeling a little strung out!! o_O

Strings, Strings, Strings. How about weaving some of that string into some rope and pulling me out of whereever I am? I guess I could be out already and suffering from amnesia. Am I out yet? Guys-Ahh Guys--Hello--Is anybody there?--Well if I am out, I just hope I came out the front and not the back. That would be entirely gross being stuck in a pile of Dino poop for life. :'(

I don't think it's possible to explain universe in few words. In string theory, there could be as many Universes as ther's grains of sand on our planet.. We humans don't trully understand own sollar system.. What was the mechanism to form the Sun and planets around our star.. What is the deffinition of "life" and "inteligence" Is there higher force or even Singularity (artofficial inteligence, and maybe our next toppic) that controls Supersymmetry (In theoretical physics string theories require Supersymmetry).. If our own universum expands, when it will reach it's maximum? Will it start to shrink again to form yet another Big Bang? Hell we no nothing about Earth or our oceans to begin with.. Let alone deep space :doubt:
At the moment we have bits and pices of big puzzle we're trying to put together. We are only guessing how "big picture" looks like..
Here's great link for anyone interested.. :)
    http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/program.html

    GENESIS chpt. 1
I know this one... :D  Well it was a great big ball of fire... :D One of theory is that when our sollar system formed, earth and other planets were bombarded with comets. Dirty snowballs.. (not "bown balls" Cochise.. :p :D )
It's been belived (many different theorys there too ) that one of those gigantic comets collided with earth chopping big slice of it that stayed in earth's orbit forming our moon about 4½ billion years ago.. As earth cooled the volcanoes errupted great amounts of carbon dioxide, steam, ammonia and metane into the atmosphere. Amminoacids took care of creation of first primitive cells. Those primitive life forms on their part started photosynthese (using sunlight) to convert carbon dioxide and water to food, energy and oxygen..

Well ladies and gentlemen we are now slipping through time towards the very begining of the universe. We don't know exactly what to expect but I do know we will have to watch out for the magnetic pull of any black holes that are anywhere in our region of space they could create a worm hole that would take us to a completely foreign universe. There is no telling what we might encounter there.

I started watching those videos and they are very interesting, thank you.
I recommend everyone here to have a look at Net Traveler's link and enjoy the explanations on the string theory. I will eventually give you my feedback Net Traveler after I finish watching the videos. ;)
