I have just started to use TI8 and made a full image last week and an incrimental image this week and went to do a restore last night and it couldn't find the drive with the image.

    The set up:
C drive is 160GB SATA drive
E drive is a 40GB ATA/133 drive with the TI Image

I can see the image and verify and mount the image fine from within windows but when booting from the CD drive it doesn't see the E drive at all. I can see the C and D drives fine when booting from the CD.

:doubt: As I am typing this one thought occured to me the E drive was added after the boot cd was created could this be the problem?

    thanks,
    matt

    Hello matt,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please download the latest build (937) of Acronis True Image 8.0. In order to get access to updates you should register account on our site (or just log in if you have already created it) and then register your copy of the product. Then create a new bootable CD and see whether the problem persists.

Then I recommend you to try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround and if it doesn't help please create sysinfo.txt file and send to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread (please see https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 for the detailed instructions). This will allow us to investigate the problem.

    Thank you.
