    Hello starfish_001,

The AUR is definitely not included with Build 3567 of TI 9.0 Home. I believe it is only available to registered users of the TI 9.1 Corporate series and won't work if one of those versions isn't installed.

So I guess us poor TI 9.0 Home users have dipped out unless Acronis have a future change of heart :'(.

    Regards

Thanks - it does appear to be available as a separate download - $29 I've asked support if it will work in conjunction with TI Home. If it does not I'll think I ask to refund home and change to the corporate addition

Universal Restore is not in the Home version. See the Acronis reply (#2) in:

I've seen this new feature mentioned several times in this forum but I haven't found any mention of it in Acronis's stuff. Is there something I've missed? (You certainly state it as fact, not rumour :))

Yes, it's there alright. The User Guide for 3567 is not out yet so it is the old one.

    Hi MKairys,

By "Acronis' stuff" do you mean their User's Guide for the latest versions? If so then I guess this extract from the Acronis 9.1 Workstation User's Guide is as good as it's going to get for now :p.

    Regards

Hi all, can you tell me is it possible to upgrade to the new version by overwriting with the upgrade? Or must you uninstall and reinstall with the new version?

    Thanks...

I just installed over the old. Everything was fine and all the tasks were retained.

Thanks for the quick reply, I wondered about this because the previous upgrade would not work. I had to uninstall the old version and then reinstall with the new.

I will give it a go now and report back.

Have just installed new version over old, and all appears to have gone well. One thing which does occur to me. Do I now need to create a new rescue disk?

    Thanks...

I also installed 3567 over 2337 and it worked fine. Yes, you do have to make a new rescue CD since the program has changed. Test as a minimum, that you can boot it OK and verify an image after creating.

A 3567 rescue CD can restore older image files, but an older rescue CD will not be able to restore 3567 image files. Make a new one.
