    Extremely pleased (and grateful) for having TI.
    But here is an ongoing nuisance...

    Since I first got TI, I've changed my entire system around a couple of times (i.e. new hard drives, etc.). But TI-9 still has every single .tib listed (not the actual .tib) since then and this makes it a hassle to find my newest and now only two locations.

    One cannot just delete any of these in the drop-down File Name -- as far as I can tell.

    So I tried poking around system and/or log files related to Acronis that held this list, but couldn't find the right one.

    Bottom Line:

    --- There's got to be a way to trim this list down - short of uninstalling/reinstalling TI, yes? *

    * I actually tried an uninstall and reinstall but ran into problems, even in Safe Mode and had to do a System Restore. But I'll address that stuff in an other thread.

    Use windows explorer to navigate to and find the TIB's you want to delete. Then right click and select delete.

    Thanks for reply, but it's not the actual .tib I'm talking about (if I had those, I'd need 20 terrabytes of disc space - lol). It's the listings in the "Backup Archive Location" drop-down "File Name" section of that page.

    Almost 10 days, still no Acronis response. Disappointing considering how good the product is -- and that I've highly recommended it to many people.

    Hello Soniclight,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for delayed response.

    There currently is no feature to clear the list via Acronis True Image interface. If you want us to change the behavior of Acronis True Image in any way or add some new features to this product, please feel free to post any of your suggestions in Acronis True Image WISH-LIST thread.

    Please do the following in order to clean the history of backup names manually:

    - Press Windows Start button and choose Run;
    - In the Run dialog enter "regedit" and hit Enter;
    - In the Registry Editor go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\TrueImageHome\FILEHISTORY key;
    - Delete the values you want and close the Registry Editor.

    Thank you.
