So the 'kill this process' is similar to the block/deny feature in Mamutu? I assume this feature is automatically on?

has problems with previous threatfire in final versions, so i feel a beta would be very problematic.

I have tried TF in the past and it seemed to slow things down a bit. I use OA and Antivir Premium so I really don't need another security program. The final build of Cyberhawk wasn't bad though. I have been using Mamutu on my Vista laptop and it seems to run better in my opinion.

They're using a black- and a whitelist for the user's convenience, but the behavior of everything that happens always comes first. Once malicious behavior is exhibited, it can ask these lists for guidance - without any guidance there's a prompt for action, and not just letting things pass by.

same here - last final, all options ON and some of my own for the registry.
working was not like charm - although i dont blame TF for all.
i'm testing mamutu2 now and it works visible smarter than TF.
i am looking forward to TF again when 4.6 goes final. :thumb:

So... did it successfully detect all the traces and keep track of them - taking care of the rogue completely?

If you want to make a very deep determination, you could always also scan with Hitman Pro, SAS and MBAM apart from Prevx. ;)

Hitman Pro>> it found 1.tmp on temp folder but no active process.
i think its not good test methodology. but its quick.

You check what that tmp-file belonged to by looking at the details? There you can see the defs. given by its engines. ;)
