Threat found and Cleaned

During a scan Nod cleaned Win32.Favadd which it lists as a Trojan. I had no alert while online. I have Blackspears settings enabled.

Is it just the case that only some of the items needed for the trojan were downloaded and then cleaned. There were 3 instances, all in system32 folder.

one each in
PSDrvcheck.NLD
PSDrvcheck.NL
PSDrvcheck.KO

or are they false positives?......PSDrvcheck is part of Pinnacle InstantCopy App. Ewido full didnt alert and nothing showed up on scan either

I am also having the same problem, this happened to me last night and im trying to fix it now. I have just uninstalled Pinnacle and am going to scan it again.

 

I currently have the same problem, Ewido did not find it neither did an online scan. It only occurred after thursdays update. I seem to recall that last year there was a problem wth Pinnacle products - I am guessing this is a false positive but I await confirmation.

I have submitted them to Eset..

why dont you send that files to samples[at]eset.com and they will analyze them
