Hey, Looking to edit/create plugins for Ettercap 0.8.2, but I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. More specifically, I want to edit the DoS plugin so I can test a variation of attacks on a closed environment. Unfortunately, I'm pretty new to kali, and the plugins are saved in ".so" format, which I am pretty unfamiliar with. Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this (viewing/editing/creating new plugins)? Thank you so much. Also, sorry if this is the wrong forum, there're a whole bunch of them and I'm new to the site.
