    I went to W10 today and can't get this target to work anymore with chrome in W10 like it did in W7 ... "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disk-cache-dir="/tmp/ram/"

    The Edge Browser is using 165 MB of memory in the background when it is not being used. The Edge User Interface Service is using 130 MB of Memory when the browser is not being used. Edit... After installing the new edge, i don't see any memory problems when not in use.

    Microsoft Edge 44.19041.423.0. I can't find out how to check for updates in W10 Edge. When i had edge in W7 it was easy to check for updates.

    Open Edge, three little dots in upper right hand corner, down to Settings. System for Background selection, About for update. Note, if you choose About it will update automatically.

    In W10 edge when i click on settings i only get a right sidebar of settings. On edge i had in W7, i would get a full screen with as left sidebar with all the settings.

    Microsoft Edge 44.19041.423.0. The guy at the store told me what W10 version it was, and he said it was the best W10 to date. Up until recently he told customers to stay on W7 because W10 was buggy and they would have problems with it. He said that he was a W10 beta tester.

    @Dragon1952
    Click the flag button bottom left of your taskbar once.
    When a menu comes up don't click on anything just immediately type the word winver (you don't need to enter it into a box or anything)
    Click on winver command when it pops up.
    What does it say the version of Windows is that you are running?

    That's good.
    But the build of Edge is not right. It should be 85.0.564.63
    When you go to Settings.. Updates and Security and select 'Check for Updates' does it offer anything?

    Click on Settings (the cog)
    Update and Security is last on the page (perhaps you might have to scroll down a bit?
    Does it look like this with same things on it?

    I see from another thread you that are using the Windows 7 settings for Open Shell (the old Classic Shell)
    It makes it a bit tricky for me to suggest where to look for things.
