Yes, Zoom Page WE developer suggested the Zoom popup is because I don't have "Use CSS full zoom instead of browser full zoom" checked. But, I do.....
Deleting browser set zoom levels > edge://settings/content/zoomLevels < sorted my zoom popup annoyance.

    Thanks

I decided to reenable the Zoom WE extension and delete the zoom levels at edge://settings/content/zoomLevels to see if the popup went away. Unfortunately I'm still getting that popup everytime I navigate to a new page. Since you having it working could you maybe post a screenshot of your Zoom WE settings? TIA

Edit: Actually I think I figured it out. I had to go into Edge settings and change the default zoom back to 100% ( I had it at 110% ). Now I'm not getting the little popup every time I open a new page.

Vanilla Chromium isn't much better for privacy than closed-source Google Chrome. Chromium is created by community lead and mostly paid by Google and Chromium uses Google services.

    That looks good
Can you say more about which browsers have it?

I knew it was an overly general comment when I made it but I was at work and busy. :D:isay:
The setting for "Ask before sending" exists in Chrome and multiple other browsers if you just don't want to be prompted. It appears Chrome does not show any kind of icon in the address bar. They will very likely do so moving forward. Firefox does do this and shows a little text bubble in the address bar. In the moment I posted that I was likely thinking of Firefox and incorrectly thought Chrome did as well. In any case I am happy to just disable the prompts. The icon adds little if any value to me. But everyone else isn't me.

Perhaps I misunderstood, but I only see an option in Vivaldi to block certain website permissions, I thought this was about something else. Actually, I now see you can block "Notifications", so it seems to be nothing new, wasn't this a standard feature in all Chromium based browsers anyway?

I believe the problem was that I also misunderstood at first. Yes, blocking the notifications is a standard feature of most browsers. I think the "new" thing here was meant to be that it showed an icon in the address bar to show that a website wants to show you a notification that you have blocked. But that also is nothing new as Firefox already does this and probably others too but I don't spend a lot of time in other browsers and don't particularly want that feature anyway. I just don't want to see them and that problem is easily solved.

Actually, I feel like a dummy because I didn't even know you could block this in Vivaldi. But seems strange that Edge presents this as some kind of new feature.

I don't know what advantage Edge would bring over Brave.

Good point, but I was talking about a full installer, weird that M$ doesn't offer this. But you're right, seems like I haven't got any choice, I will try to download and install Edge inside the sandbox, I hope it still works.
