    Hi!

I wanted to support Panda Software by buying Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro.
I bought license few days ago for my notebook (one year).

Just opened my notebook and plugged in one of my USB modems (mobile internet).
YOUR SERVICES ARE EXPIRED! Thats what I got.

This is really really wrong. One year license lasted one week! Guys at Panda, shape up!

How low can you go? Money for nothing?

Oh and please fix my license ASAP or refund my money.

Oh C'mon man take a chill pill... Have you informed their support team? Or you directly came here and created a thread here...and started bashing them...? You can also ask Pedro about the same and i am sure he'll help you out...

Well this is odd, this should be impossible to happen because Pro has not even been out for a year. Please go to the Panda Cloud Forums and PM Pbust so he can fix this. I have no idea what could have gone wrong o_O

Abuse? Certainly not, my friend. This sounds like an issue with the software that can be fixed within a few days. I can't see why anyone would come here and quote-unquote bash them over such a thing. But perhaps I am completely and utterly wrong, if you could provide us with a link to the thread we can follow it ;)

Well, you know that licenses are ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ when users are installing new hardware (or software?). This is MAJOR is ISSUE and Panda Software has not fixed it. Their so called "license abuse protection" scheme is pretty flawed.
Zero tolerance here. I am not that rich! :thumbd:

Ah yes that license protection thing is not a plot to steal money it's just how the 3rd party provider runs the online store. If I remember correctly Panda was working on a new way for users to fix the issues when they upgrade the hardware and need a new key but I do not know any details on that.

So so y'all know if you upgrade your machine and need the key fixed PM one of the Panda Staff and they will get it fixed as soon as possible for ya.

Guys! Check out my join date. I am not here bashing anybody. This license issue has lasted too long.

BTW....don't bother comment unless you have paid for this software. :ninja:

This is weird... probably a bug.

Please PM me the following information and we will investigate:
    * Your License Key
    * Your MUID from the registry (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Panda Software\Setup\UIDS\MUID)

Of course it goes without saying this has nothing to do with "abuse" or "marketing tactics" or any of those. Probably just a glitch. Keep in mind we only started selling Pro Edition a few days ago and the license control systems might have glitches.

It's hard to balance key protection and simple use. They have to figure out a way to make sure user's are not lieing that they upgraded their machine to get a new key yet they also need to make sure those that truly did upgrade them get a new key so give them some time to balance it
