Yes, again, this new version is not stable with my system and I reverte back to Deep Freeze. Don't have the beta but it is working well here. Too bad again that SD is not up to par to work either with my hardward and or software.

Great news, can someone ask Tony what's the status of SSD support? Is it "official" that the new version works fine with SSD or does it screw TRIM?

Gary, have you been able to isolate the problem to either your hardware or your software? The latest version of SD is running great on my HP laptop with mSSD whereas before all versions of SD were crashing the system!

    Cruise,
Like I said, I was running Sandboxie paid and Appguard, now just Sandboxie and that is the only security type software realtime. Deep Freeze again has no such problems on this laptop but it is like looking for neddle in a haystack. I know my wife has the same laptop and sometimes I cannot get certain programs that run on mine to do as well on hers. What security programs are you running realtime with SD and thanks.

What "ram used as cache" do you guys set?

Only running AppGuard and SD realtime. No problems so far. (2) Win 7 laptops and (1) Win XP laptop.

Gary, I'm running SBIE and NIS along with SD v1.2.0.346, so far without incident, which was not possible with prior versions of SD!

The thing is that we both have notebooks with an mSSD, both running Win7 x64. It seems to me that the major difference between our configurations is Appguard, which I don't use. I also don't use Chrome (although I'm seriously considering it).

As for DF, I would not use it - even if I had to go without an LV program... :cautious:

    Just my 2 cents...
I'm sticking to .325 since it's working without any problems on my XP Pro machine. Also, I use SD on-demand.

Make that 4 cents... cuz it's a ditto for me.

Not to mention I just can't trust that anything they put out anymore is legit. I've seen concerns that the website may have been taken over by hackers... certainly by spammers at least. Nobody can really verify whether this Tony guy is still around, or the one pushing out these new versions. And the post above about the discrepancy in checksums certainly isn't doing much to inspire confidence in me.

    No thanks... sticking with .325

Fully agree with that. The same with SLE (#1573) and skokospa (#1577).
I don't want to argue trjam...it's your choice.

    edit:
Few day ago I downloaded the latest - 1.2.xx - version and today I tried move it to USB stick where is my archive of installers...but every time when I try to do it I get pop-up (below). This is the first time when I met such situation :doubt:

    Image 001.jpg

In English it would be (+/-)

"To the file "SD1.2.0.346_Setup" are attached additional informations that can be lost if you will continue of copying. It will not have an affect on the content of the file. To the Information that can be lost belong:
    ---
Summary of information about the document
    ---
Despite it do you want to continue?

    YES/NO"

Since I don't subscribe to the 'hacker-conspiracy theory' I switched from SD 1.1.0.325 to the latest version (1.2.0.346) when it was released. The new version is running very smoothly on my Win7x64 system and I've noticed that my system runs faster with the new RAM-cache enabled than it ever did with the older version)! :thumb:

Update - Still cannot use SD latest 64 bit version on my Lenovo x220 laptop with mSSD running SBIE and Chrome. My Chrome preference file gets trashed. Thiis does not happen with any other ocmbination of software I try until I try latest SD version. Has anyone noticed any problems running Chrome with latest SD and thanks.

Gary, I would inform 'Tony' about your Chrome issue at the SD support email address. He has been responsive to my emails.

I don't know guys. How would we find out if it's "the real" Tony who replies to the emails? Shall we ask 'Tony, is this the real you?'
