according to SANS, qwest/centurylink and time warner recursive resolvers are still returning poisoned lookups. just checked qwest's primary denver, co resolver and it's still giving bad results for ups, thereg, acer and i didn't check the others. long TTLs on the bad records = no bueno.

    @ siljaline

Thanks for the link :thumb: the second is the same though ?

    @ m0unds

    Thanks for the link :thumb:

I would have expected that DNS hacks would be impossible to do these days. Obviously the people "supposed" to be taking care of business, are not :thumbd:

Some BIG players got hit with this, who won't be very pleased. So "maybe" heads will roll ! They should anyway.

@ CloneRanger My second and third links point to the Sophos article not to the screenshot from the article the OP posted.

I would point to the same article from another board but they don't like folks pointing here. So be it.

Anything else, feel free. I'm sure that DNS hack will be over shortly.

    Regards,

My second and third links point to the same article, the second perhaps is a duplication and I should remove it but it's probably not necessary.

Does that work for you ?

    Thanks.

    Their site is still down?

I wonder how they'll describe the events :D because they have a way with words.

That's why safe browsing, as in going to trusted websites only, does not work.
