First, the guy was a contractor. His contract had expired. His former client boss was supposed to renew his contract but he had been laid off and forgot to do so before "he got the boot." Crap like this happens all the time in the "brave new" corp. America scene. If anything it shows the current "boss, what we have here is a failure to communicate" mentality prevalent today.
