"The Installer was interrupted" - Windows XP 64 bit

    Nothing new here, looks like: "The Installer was interrupted..." error message during the installation of True Image 9.0_s_en on a brand new Windows XP 64 bit machine.

    I know, according to a post from last November, that True Image doesn't support Windows XP 64 bit as yet. I'm disappointed by this, as I've been relying on True Image (various versions) for quite a while (and quite a few computers).

    Any word on when support will be available?

    I would guess around about the time the full retail version of Windows Vista is formally released.

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    I'm afraid that Acronis True Image 9.0 does not support Windows XP 64-Bit Edition. It will be supported in the future builds/versions of Acronis True Image. I'm sorry but the exact time-frame for that is not decided yet.
