  1. Hello,

Suppose I have a firewall who no privacy features.. i.e., like Sygate Personal Firewall Pro.. or Kerio..

Now suppose I want to find a privacy product that will block java, javascripts, active x controls, Pop ups, and banner ads.. and give me the privacy features of Zone Alarm Pro or Outpost Pro..

What would you recommend? I want to be able to configure it for individual websites. For example, for www.nod32.com I want to block NOTHING.. but other sites, everything...

    What would you recommend?

AdSubtract Pro may be what you are looking for. It allows for both a default configuration and an override by website with many customizable settings.

    Main site: http://www.adsubtract.com/index.html

    Matrix of features: http://www.adsubtract.com/pro/matrix.html

Attached is a single tab on the AdSubtract Pro configuration screen to give you some ideas...

    Best Wishes,

You may also like to take a look at "The Proxomitron": http://www.spamblocked.com/proxomitron/index2.html
It is very configurable, works with Sygate pro 5 & is free.

All of these are 100% pure freeware, no trial periods. Some of these

Heh.. Maybe the subject line should give you a clue that offering lots of options isn't a good idea?

I recommend a "all in one" option utility like proxomitron (with default settings , it works fine out of the box) or webwasher (easier) or maybe Internet junkbuster.

I just can't be borthered with dedicated popup killers.
