The useability score was terrible; lowest of all that were tested.

One could argue that strong protection by itself is worthless unless you properly know how to use it?

Mostly FPs brought down the score.

There is no need to 'argue'. It is worthless. Anyone can design a product that has 100% TP rate but also 100% FP rate. It just has to blindly call everything malicious :) Comodo is obviously not that bad, but its far from useable by the average user despite Melih's claims.:p

Not agree with it ... it's from the FP rates nothing else .. (maybe whitelist needs improvements but that's normal, DDP needs hard work).

From the average Joe point of view,CIS hardly will alert in day to day real life usage!? on default settings...so that is not user friendly o_O

Indeed it is...I guess because I am running CIS here on defaults and it is working great and absolutely silent and also just tested with unknown malware and no questions from COMODO whatsoever,Sandbox does everything by itself in case it is real malware sometimes in case of singed adware type stuff you just get one unlimited rights question and nothing else :)

Ask yourself how many FPs will you encounter during everday usage?
20 samples out of 636k makes it 0,003%.
    ;)

Comodo IS Free vs Premium is like Apples and Oranges.
Where is Avira Free? Avast Free and AVG Free were testet.
    Suites versus Antivirus-only...
    The comparison is complete rubbish...:thumbd:

It is the same product, right?
Officially, there is no CIS Free by that name.

    I agree.

Here 2 average joe's Win 7 64 system running CIS 6 Suite Default Settings from the day it released & yet no FPs, Autosandboxed or Unlimited Rights popup.

Almost all the softwares used by average joe's are either in TVL or cloud whitelist.

CIS 6 is definitely an excellent improvement with a near perfect balance of protection, usability & performance for average joe's. Autosandbox feature have completely eliminated popups & the best protection layer for average joe's.

All the above is my opinion. I have also tested CIS 6 with Cloud, TVL & Internet disabled & tried running & installing few popular & average joe's type of softwares. 99% Programs ran & installed fine in autosandboxed. With all the features Cloud, TVL enabled no hassles.

The only ones I have encoutered so far are things like 2/4 years old samples.
I have also reported 2/3 vendors which were making Adwares and PUP they quickly removed them :thumb:

Picture says more than 1000 words, dude....;)
They use word Premium to say it offers the same or even better protection than other paid suites.

    Which version do you use?

(although it seems complete ridiculous to argue about their marketing here)
