    bgoodman4, tipo, moserw & chinook9, you're welcome!

In case it was missed, the first paragraph in the posted article has a link to an earlier article (February 2009) called The 32 Totally Essential (and Free) Apps for Every New PC.

There are some repeats from the newest list, yet, you will find other gems as well. Enjoy!

I like the idea of a few of the softwares they have listed that I havent messed with yet.

Cobian, Belvedere, and the Copernic Desktop search are the only ones Ive never heard of.

Why wouldnt it be safe? I doubt Maximum PC would post it on their list if it wasnt.

I only asked because, like my post said - All I could find was a few UNanswered threads. I was hoping someone actually tried it or new it was ok, thats all.

CustomHVAC, although I have not tried StrokeIt, here is today's MaximumPC article How-To: Add Mouse Gestures to Any Windows Program that explains its functions a little better.

If you (or anyone else for that matter) decide to try it, post back your results.
