Temp Folders

    Hi

    Could there be any files in these folders [Start > Run > temp and %temp%] that relate to ESET Smart (or Malwarebytes) and should not be deleted?

    I would like to empty these folders but not sure whether it's safe to do so.

    Temp folders are temp folders, if programs keep program critical files in those folders they sure need to give it a better location :).

    File scanners (such as NOD32 and MB) might use it while doing a scan on a archive to unpack all the files inside to scan them (but I am not sure if NOD32 uses one of those folders for that).
