Be careful of bloatware/malware when installing it.

I like it and use it quite often. No install necessary. Good tool for a USB stick.

How aggressive is it -- do you have to be real careful with it?

It quickly clears the user temp, system temp, and internet temp files. It leaves history intact. It also does not securely delete as far as I know.

It's nothing close to privazer or ccleaner. Just a temp file remover.

It's very conservative, which means less control than more aggressive cleaners but smaller probabilities of issues as well.

When TFC "cleans," does it delete to the recycle bin - or does it just delete the files?

It just deletes the files, and it will empty the recycle bin.

By the way glad you brought it up. Mine was about 2 years out of date.

    Which TFC?
    By OldTimer?
or from ADDPCS that sometimes is marked as suspicious
    -http://addpcs.com/software/tfc/
I was using in the past both TFC but that one from ADDPCS to second version...next were more spectacular and more complicated. Both TFC were very similar to that time and were efficient especially in cleaning files from system (Windows) space.

I was referring to the one from ADDPCS. I didn't know there was two different ones.

Didn't know about the one from ADDPCS. Ran it under TimeFreeze to have a look and it seemed kind of blah. Privazer, Bleachbit, Ccleaner, are all better choices IMO, they also can be made portable.

Don't get me wrong, I use a lot of different kinds of cleaning programs.

    My question is:

If I have "close-to-perfect" - and FREE - "Privazer", "CCleaner with CCenhancer",
plus, "WiseDisk Cleaner", "Privacy Mantra", "Ninja", "Glary Utilities", "IEPrivacyKeeper", even ATF Cleaner (almost forgot BleachBit and SlimCleaner Free),
what would be a reason for me to use TFC?
