TDS3 > updating connection ?

    Hi,
    I am looking forward to ones willing to help me to be sure about things at computing security.
    TDS3 uses unsecure / secure connection (http/https) to connect (authenticate) and download the lastest db? As an user, it is a safe feeling if a secure connection being used in update process for which the file being downloaded probably is protected from tampered/read (not important for this case)?
