TDS-3 Plugins

    My son just bought the TDS-3 and we are trying it out, what we cant understand is how to use the plugins like the: local port scanner, tcp inspector and all those to see if some hacker are in out system. Do we have to see for ourselves out does the TDS-3 warn us if a hacker enters our computer? any help is good
