TDS-3 Execution Protection

This question has probably been posted here before (if so, I apologize), but here goes:

For the execution protection component of TDS to be working in the background, must the TDS icon appear in the systray? Thanks in advance.

 

If TDS is running there's always an icon, either in tray or systray. I minimize it and bring it back when needed.
But with TDS running your exec protection is active.

 

Thanks for the quick response, Jooske. I wasn't sure if it was like Wormguard, i.e., working in the background without a Systray icon.

 

You're welcome! In the WG forums Jason wrote WG4 will have a systray icon to do more stuff with it btw, no details unveiled yet. Could be something to expect.
I would like one quicklaunch icon for all DCS gems at a time and i could think of more nice additions for that
