TCP & UDP problems

    this may be in the wrong place .. i have no clue about this so im sorry if it sounds newbie :)

    so iv being trying to download an update on final fantasy for 2 days,keep getting errors,i was made to buy a new hardrive buy there support helpine.thats not the problem,thay then send me this :-


    "Port numbers that may be used by the PlayOnline server group.

    · TCP 25,80,110,443 and from 50000 to 65535
    · UDP from 50000 to 65535"


    thay said these not being set right may be the problem,i really have no clue what it means where to start,or what to do : D so any help would be great,
