BTW, the owner of the Blues Jays is Ted Rogers of Rogers Cable(tv, internet, cell and home phone) so whoever happens to use his services(i for one) should be expecting a significant price hike coming soon.

The Toronto Blue Jays may once again be looking to the Arizona Diamondbacks for a slugger.

According to ESPN's Peter Gammons, the Diamondbacks and Blue Jays are on the verge of completing a trade that would send Troy Glaus and a prospect to Toronto in exchange for pitcher Miguel Batista and second baseman Orlando Hudson.

No sure about this one.... They certainly need another bat but at the price of a gold glover(Orlando Hudson)? o_O

Plus now there is a log jam at third and first base. JP must have something else in mind to remedy that. :doubt:

Believe it or not.......people have been killed playing Croquet.......some of the old Dowagers that play the game would cripple the best Baseball babies you could muster within minutes...........their ankles would be 'mush' in seconds....never underestimate the British Malleteers...only at your peril......

Cochise, Hooping it up in Holland.....(Mit der Mallet)...

I know, can you believe it? This is truly horrible news. I agree, snowbound, Kirby was a great player and a good guy as well- something that professional sports could definitely use more of these days.

R.I.P., Kirby Puckett...you were taken seemingly a little too prematurely.....

Mommy bear and Daddy bear were in divorce court.

The judge looked down and asked the Baby Bear, "So Baby Bear, do you want to live with Daddy Bear?"

"Oh, no," Baby Bear replied, "I don't want to live with Daddy Bear. He beat me."

"Well then, you should live with Mommy Bear," answered the judge.

"On, no, I don't want to live with Mommy Bear. She beat me."

"Well then, Baby Bear, who do you want to live with?"

Baby Bear said, "I want to live with the Chicago Cubs. They don't beat anybody!"
