Guys I just tried to download it from Softpedia.
The zip file contains 4 files.
    Setup.exe
    Setup.msi
    Windows Installer 3.1
    .Net 3.5 Setup

Without .Net and Windows Installer, It's Size is only 7171kb.

are you sure you've not mistaken it for system "defender" antivirus 2010, which is indeed a rouge.

    anyway found this interesting thread:

    http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Real-Rogue-Antivirus-System-Defen-t326024.html

so it looks like even if the software itself may not be a rouge, either those pop-up ads that you're forced to click on are, or its not doing its job properly at all....

Hmmm now that is really wierd they should specify the files in zip:thumbd:

BTW I thought that .Net Framework v3.5 was only of 63 MB:doubt:

Pure genius strategy... surely must look like a serious product if you bundle 200 megs of useless crap with it. At least they could have packed in some pr0n instead? :D

AvinashR, there is no need to clutter a thread by posting that any Post is against Policy or TOS. Using the built-in Report Bad Post feature is the method to get a Mod/Admin's attention. Keep that in mind for the future.

It's now evident why they use zip. They provide .net and Windows Installer Packages with it.
