    Hi There!

I have just purchased System Backup 2010 for a client who wants a complete disaster recoverable backup each day of his Window 7 x64 laptop to an External HDD. It has taken it's first backup Which I presume, (since i didn't get any information to the contrary), is a complete file for file copy of the entire machine including all data and programs and OS files.

When I go to restore a file to test it, under explore in the restore option, where it has an list of the archives of the backups, there is nothing! How do I restore files on this software?

Also are the backups differential or incremental?

    Hello Networkn,

To restore single files or folders, go to Start > Programs > Paragon System Backup 2010 > Advanced > File Transfer Wizard.

Locate where the archive is, double-click to "dig" into the archive and view its content. Copy folders or files to the clipboard by using the middle green arrow button, and complete the wizard to extract to your specified location.

The initial backup is a FULL backup. You can setup differential backups thereafter once there's a full backup in place.
