At the moment I'm evaluating TI 9 Workstation and found that after restoring an image with Windows XP Pro SP2 onto a PC with different hardware, I can't login into any account on the restored system.
Note: Universal Restore was used. The machine is not part of a domain and is not connected to a network.

Has anyone seen this problem? Possible to fix without loosing encrypted files?

Also, does TI 9 Workstation allow booting from Rescue CD and using the same CD/DVD drive to load an image? And does it support usb connected storage when booted from Rescue CD?

Update: It was a keyboard mapping issue, the system does log in. However can anyone answer the other questions please?

    Hello ravenz,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Workstation Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please take a look at this thread describing how to create such media.

Yes, Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue Media supports USB devices as a storage while it is booted into Full version of Acronis True Image. In case you boot this media into Safe mode you are unable to use USB devices.

    Thank you.
